Heatwave alert for next five days as highest temperature in India soars to 50 degrees, IMD's warning for 5 states

On Saturday, maximum temperatures ranged from 44-49°C in most parts of West Rajasthan and some parts of East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and isolated pockets of Gujarat, Haryana, Telangana, and Marathwada as heatwave gripped several regions.
